Southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia.. all affected by major storms.
If you look at the list the first three locations have already been affected by storms, are they simply completing the list with Malaysia or will all these locations be hit again? Either way Spirit is expecting a surge in storms in the the eastern region of the world.

There’s another Cyclone showing up on weather apps developing outside of Darwin, NT Australia by next weekend (6th) and it looks as tho it will travel down towards Perth, covering a similar track of Cyclone Veronica that did that track about a week ago. Cyclone Trevor was the 2nd to hit the Queensland East Coast a couple of weeks ago too but this time it crossed over into the Northern Territory. Everyone up there in the northern half of Australia seem to be dealing with floods now. Down south, Tasmania, Victoria and even in our State NSW our ranges had snow in the weekend. Here on the Central Coast in NSW 3 wks ago we were getting 38C degrees and last night it dropped to 12C degrees. We are in our Autumn now the opposite to much of the World, Winter doesn’t arrive until June. Tomorrow Canberra ACT are starting their day with 6C degrees. Crazy weather.

Yeah re crazy weather. The BoM are saying we’ll have a warm Autumn into winter, so late cyclones are very possible. Excellent rain so far with 155 mil totally for Gayndah area, where I live, in Qld for March.

Sure is crazy weather. Here in Gayndah region of Qld we had 155 mil of rain for March, 14mil for Feb and nil for Jan. BoM predict a warm Autumn for most of Aussie, so late cyclones are definitely a possibility up here.

I cant find it ..hubby is fifo so i like to know what weather is coming up for his flights ..
I know the airlines are onto it i just like to know .i would appreciate .plus i have alot of family scattered through Darwin and western coastal regions and Veronica was a bit testing .

Nope, there are no warnings you might want to read the articles, they are putting forth new research, and that people should be prepared if it happens. The same sort of articles came out a decade ago telling us to prepare for a magnitude 9 to 10 on the alpine fault. Still hasn’t happened. There isn’t a month that goes by where we don’t have articles warning us to be prepared in case. You are reading far more into the articles than they are

It’s not a warning of a quake about to happen, it is what might happen. Jezz when I was seven we had warning articles and drills for the big one In Taupo, I’m 45 and that still hasn’t happened. They are not warning of an impending quake because the truth is they can’t not and do not do that. Nothing is going on within the government that is any different than any other year when they make sure the country is prepared in the event, and nothing is going on in the hospitals. The experts are saying it will be the strongest storm ever recorded in the area and it comes just weeks after Cyclone Idai which battered south-east Africa and has affected millions of people with the death toll now above 1,000.

At least 150 families have been displaced and business disrupted by floods at Lemba village in Ukunda, Kwale county. The floods followed three-day heavy downpour in the Coast. Residents said the sewage and drainage system was swept away. Abdallah Mwachikaya sought refuge at the home of friends in a nearby village. “We had to leave because the water level kept rising. We feared our homes could be swept as we sleep,” Mwachikaya said. He said property had been destroyed with many victims still evaluating the damage. “Our belongings have been destroyed and things are going to get worse if immediate assistance is not received,” he said. The floods have disrupted business activities as people try to resettle in other areas.
