Well, I posted on your 11/27 posting that it could be Turkey/Syria. However, since this little episode with France and Irans nuclear intentions; I believe that the PTB may step aside and let France claim some military glory by bombing Syria. A trade off of sorts for France agreeing to the terms of the Iranian deal.

It seems to me that it would be Israel who would be the ones bombing Syria.
They implied Turkey but then Saudi Arabia, the who was very sketchy.
