I’ll make a try. The snake and darkness symbolize the evil, in this particular case, for example., a predicted sinister act. The depicted “dance” with the snake refers to the tactic mentioned by you before, that is, of making moves that “distract” the opponent and thereby change the predicted course of events. The turning on of lights after that and the treasure symbolize a positive outcome, a thwarted disaster. Also note that you don’t attack the opponent; rather, you play with it at the same level, and, rather, outsmart the opponent.
