Hey Eric- I seem to remember at one point in the comments (or maybe a post?) you said that when the stock market went way down it would be temporary- like a dramatic drop and then it goes right back up. Is that correct? And is that for what we’re experiencing with the market now? Or do you think this is going to keep crashing and be bad for a long time? Thanks!

I’m no finance expert, as my profession is of an information Technology Analyst, but I do work for a bank and from my observation any changes in market and business tend to plummet stocks for a while until the dust settled down. Like a card castle, the smallest move make it collapse so is economy, many small action has the potential of creating an avalanche. I think that it’s going to take a big part of the year, if not the rest of the year, for the dust to settle, and with so civil displeasure will grow and pressure the government to either change or impeach the president.

His trade wars lead to inflation. Inflation leads to us not affording it and then the pendulum shifts to recession. The US economy will mirror what happened to the UK after Brexit. Not good. But it swings back later due to tech and science boom.
The real threat everyone is when the food supply is strangled by climate change. That’s when the s((t hits the fan.

It depends on the nation we were talking about. If it’s the US we are expecting a short recession due to rising inflation which hasn’t happened yet. Russia is headed towards something like a depression. Then there are the Latin nations that will swing wildly in their favor.

Oh it’s super big. Space has something. They call it white gold. It’s the gold rush of tomorrow and we are set to have one epic gold rush into space. If I had money I would put it all in the tech of space. But in my mind this is years away.
The medical science boom is due now. It was always suppose to follow Covid days. So very soon on that piece.
Bottom line I am expecting a recession but short.-
