Prediction: Never Again Movement

“They (Congress and the President) will do next to nothing but pander to the children.. provide token change and nothing more.. and with another shooting around the corner.. the children will rage.. rage with conviction.”

I had a symbolic visual of children pushing political figures off a cliff, several of the political figures tried to hold on, but the children kept pushing until no one was left.

“You have grossly underestimated the power of these children.”

The impression given is they try very hard to bring about real change with the gun laws, the rage is a bit concerning. In their failure to convince our elected officials they shift their attention to replacing the leaders with news ones during the elections. At the beginning of the 2018 Spirit shared the over arching theme and tone of the future in regards to 2018 that mirror so much of this situation:

“Enough! Enough!.. So many fed up with their governments. From protest to all out violence, sudden shifts as new leaders rise.. and the old ones fall.”

I had a visual of a person, (you could only see their hand) placing apples in a box until the box was full.

Being someone who watches news all the time this message mirrors CNNs apple commercial. As such in my opinion it implies a ‘case’ has now been created against Trump or Trump surrogates. We might not hear about the case for some time, but February/March seems to be the beginning of that established case against him. 

Crazy, radical, unhinged , the conversations are wildly off the rails over this subject for weapons, and about to get worse in tone.

I had a visual of New York being flooded, with trash debris floating in the water.

Odd message?

    Is the next shooting the one involving the school in Ohio?

    “Crazy, radical, unhinged , the conversations are wildly off the rails over this subject for weapons, and about to get worse in tone.” — Does this involve rhetoric going beyond the idea of arming teachers? Is the NRA head and his spokespeople going to be more nasty in their rhetoric in order to gin up fear of the gov’t taking away your guns? Or is this about both sides ramping up the crazy after the next shooting happens?

        Eric I don’t think that you should carry any blame, if that’s what you mean. You state what you see and it is up to each of us how we take that information and digest it. I don’t feel you have created any reason for people to be afraid, just informed.
        The unfortunate truth is our politicians will not pass any legislation that they feel goes against anything gun related. The school shootings have become a way of life, so terribly unfortunate and sad, but it is the day and age we live in. Until people truly get serious about making monumental changes from as basic as the size of classrooms and schools and as big as issues with guns, our country will continue to see these shootings and worse. We have a serious problem, let me correct that we have had a serious problem for a very long time with this and it doesn’t seem that much will change until those coming of age start to get involved politically.
        After all, if the shooting of elementary school children didn’t spur the change we needed, another high school shooting won’t either. It is a very sad state of affairs our children live in. The sins of their fathers…
        But just because what you report is scary doesn’t mean that you share any blame. I would rather be informed and not caught off guard.

      This is how too many kids see the world. Hurtful, chaotic and hopeless. That’s exactly what we need to act on if we don’t want a country producing fearful and angry kids who turn into mass shooters one day.

    I don’t see the relationship between Apples and Trump. Trump is from The Big Apple, but you also saw NYC being flooded. Perhaps it was a hurricane or severe storm. NYC sits on the ocean and NJ was hit with a hurricane a few years ago.

    Maybe the apples in the box were residents fleeing for safety.
    Or NYC needing a ‘lifeline or a safety net during a financial crisis

      an apple is an apple, regardless of false claims that it’s a banana.

        Yes, in the original ad launched back in October, facts first is the point.The apples represent facts. In this recent latest ad, the point is when all the apples – (facts) are put together, they make a case.

    67 calls about Florida shooter.. 22 of them never disclosed..
    Change and focus should be on the mental health as well as the flags that are ignored..
    Total revision of priorities of action..should be applied..
    This must be the focus of the young…to change..if not it will continue..
    Guns focus…is like knife focus or car focu..all can kill…
    It is the hand of the one who controls it is the Problem!

      Well, preventing civilians from having automatic weapons will also make it harder for would-be shooters. But you’re absolutely right, we desperately need to focus on mental health issues.

      There needs to be a database of people nationwide that are not allowed to own guns….mentally ill people, abusers (including animal abusers, since they often prelude violence on humans), terrorist sympathizers, and violent criminals would be good candidates for such a database.

      I think it needs to be a joint effort–better control over automatics, better gun background checks, and like you said–a way to make sure mental illness and other red-flags are spotted and then used to deny a dangerous person access to a gun.

      Nearly a year ago the president signed a bill making it easier for people with mental illness to buy guns. The new measure rolled back an Obama-era rule that would have required the Social Security Administration to send records of some beneficiaries with severe mental disabilities to the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System. About 75,000 people found mentally incapable of managing their financial affairs would have been affected.

      The president’s 2019 budget proposal slashes spending for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration by $665 million.

      The National Institute of Mental Health would see a 30 percent reduction in funding — a half a billion dollar decrease — in 2019.

        Anita, hi,
        It is a matter of priorities..We cannot get the armed forces to report mental instability to the no guns register..with FBI..

        CA. has a group of law enforcement officers picking up and confiscating guns from felons and
        People with restraining orders.. etc.( need more officers –priority.)

        We need mental health doctors to flag and notify..police on threats..and immediate confiscation of items that are a threat to others..( pipe bombs,Knives,Guns, body armor, etc)
        Right now it is a (visual) bucket with multiple holes…so no one has responsibility..

        Throwing money at a problem does not solve it..it is a shifting of priorities and people willing to take responsibility..

        Without that commitment to change. Priorities .;.nothing will Change.. just the rhetoric.becomes derisive and polarized and than things stay the same..as the fingers point East and West..
        Again taking responsibility for change.

      Throwing money at the problem definitely isn’t the solution if that’s what they were really doing. Instead, they’re taking money away from mental health because why throw money at something that you and your billionaire donors who own and control you can’t make a profit from? Nothing will change until money in politics is made illegal because the driving priority in politics today is greed and self-interest.

      And what’s ironic about the NRA is that they used to be against arming the teachers back in the old days when it was strictly for its members – until they began to take money from the gun manufacturers. Now it’s a complete wholesale takeover by the gun manufacturer of the NRA, and then the NRA helps takeover the body politic. When you have a gun manufacturing business in your country as large and as profitable as ours is, that keeps churning out more and more guns like candy, coupled with weak gun laws regarding mental health requirements, it then makes sense why it’s so much more harder to keep track of where the guns are headed and who’s obtaining said guns.

      “They (Congress and the President) will do next to nothing but pander to the children.. provide token change and nothing more..” — this is because Congress and the President are bought and paid for by the NRA. For all of those politicians who say “thoughts and prayers” after every mass shooting, who say it’s too soon to talk about guns, who say this is a mental health problem long enough for us to forget that they did very little to combat metal health — check and see how much these individuals receive from the NRA in donations and it’ll become clear that they’re nothing more than puppets for Big Money and corporate interest.

    Eric,
    Another shooting around the corner? Any idea of where or how long we have til it happens?

    Also, do you have any updates about possible terror attacks? There was a prediction awhile back that talked about a vehicle attack in Pennsylvania and a shooting–have you been able to narrow down which it might be, or clear up that confusion?

    1999 was end of a cycle. Next 100 years the children of heaven will be leading. 17 years old now and very focal. This is not their environment in which to being raised. The leader of turkey story about child being a marter for god is a good example. The last breath in American government. The children will lead

    I am so thrilled that young people will take seriously the duty to vote even though I don’t want to see leaders replaced who are sincerely trying to do good, but don’t have the real power to change things,

    Only about 60% of eligible voters in the US actually vote. Maybe that will change with the enthusiasm of these young voters! I’d love to see us elect folks whose loyalty is to the people, not just the rich and powerful and corporations.

    I’m so encouraged by these young people. They believe they can do anything and I so hope they succeed in changing the gun laws and many other unfair laws. We’ve done it in the past (FDR’s New Deal is an example) and I hope we can do it in the future.

      I say my generation is tired of growing up with family members who fought in past wars be returned home a shell of the person they were. We are tired of ongoing conflicts around the world. We are tired of seeing people killing each other in the streets. We are tired of watching drugs, first illegal then legal, take hold of our communities. We are tired of fighting for the rights of people whom we feel should be treated the same. We are tired of fighting the same fight our parents did for equality for everyone. We are just tired. Tired of the strife and politicians looking out for themselves. We are ready for peace. Let us all feel some peace before we leave this earth and this generation in high school I believe will start this process, the generation behind them will continue the process. The movement that has begun can’t be stopped. These kids are amazing, smart, kind, accepting, they will change the world and I hope I’m alive long enough to witness it all. These kids! I am excited and so full of hope!

    The government and politicians will do as little as possible and the cheapest way they can regarding the school shootings. We need solutions. We need smaller schools, smaller class sizes where the teachers and staff know the kids, their families, their struggles. We need to return to the way schools were, such as this. Our children should not have to go to a school that resembles a prison with guards patrolling everywhere. We need to teach compassion and empathy to our kids. Spot the kids sitting alone at lunch, say hi to them, the kid walking in the hall alone, speak to them. You don’t have to be friends, but everyone wants to be acknowledged and accepted. Schools need resources nurses, psychologists, help for the kids and their families, but it won’t happen because it’s cheaper to arm everyone. How do you take out a single shooter when you have 800-1000 kids running and screaming and not injure or kill any innocent kids? Is the pain less because an armed officer or teacher accidentally kills your child instead of a shooter? Can the officers/teachers live with themselves? The conversation has to be had about why we chose to bring in armed officers to begin with and not address the real problems.
    The kids in high school will change our country. They are some of the most compassionate, accepting and intelligent kids I have ever seen. Their generation and the next will teach us more about peace, love and acceptance than anything we have ever seen.
    Times will be hard, it’s always hard when big changes are coming. We should stand with these kids or ride the wave because they can’t be stopped. What has started will continue, no group of people or politicians can stop them. I, for one, am excited to see what comes in the next few years. Hopeful even.
    With the exception of the indictments that will be handed down next month and the following months, it will be a trying time for our country, I suspect many politicians on both sides will be caught up in this mess, a mess by their own doing. If they aren’t honest, they need to be out of office.
    This is a time for us to take a long, hard look at ourselves and see what we thought was gone, but was just hidden and it’s time to face the things that come to light and fix it now.
    Come together, around the country, pray for peace, help your neighbors and each other. We will make it, don’t let the fear consume you or the talking heads on TV make you scared. We are where we are supposed to be and as long as we stick together we will make it through to the other side.
    Just my two cents on it.

        Eric, Did the school shooting prediction in Ohio change, go away? Was it prevented? I ask because I am so worried about it. I have grandchildren in schools in Ohio. From grade school, middle school, high school and college. I did ask you a few months ago if that prediction could be more specific as to where and when. Ive been watching for an update on that particular prediction, although I know they are all very worrisome. Is Ohio out of the woods now?

        Please don’t be mean. I too am very protective of Eric, but many of us see these predictions like a puzzle, trying to put pieces together to make the connection. Perhaps that’s what the comment was about, just another piece of the puzzle or not, but we never know. It could be that someone was alerted to it and the person who posted it was banned for doing such a horrible thing. We must shine light on anything that we see.
        I don’t know if anyone here would ever believe that there was anything as a crisis actor, that would be my guess. Most of the followed here, that I’ve seen post, are very loving and accepting people, who are trying to come together and make a difference in this crazy world. We don’t ever know the true intentions of a comment or post, but I do believe we have to come at them of a place of understanding that people are entitled to their own opinions. Maybe if we don’t understand what they mean we could just ask them to clarify it.
        Times are tough right now for everyone and everyone is jumbled up with emotions, I understand that, but I enjoy coming to this community to work together and honestly because Eric doesn’t accept anything less than respect for everyone. It is a wonderful community we have here.

      With respect I really have issues with people attacking children, smearing their name, the notion that anyone attacks children are wrong, but ones in a tragedy makes it so much worse. Maybe I have a bias since our family takes care of foster kids. A bias of knowing the tragedy that can stain a child’s life. Right now as I write this I am getting two foster kids ready for school. Any thought of someone smearing their name would enrage me.

      We probably shouldn’t believe what we read in Craigslist. It sounds like someone put that up there as a sick prank, just to freak people out.

      Sadly, there are lots of people who, after a tragedy, purposely post scary things like that just to scare the ones who see it. Please don’t take it literally.

        Trina, I did not take it that you were suggesting it was true, that these people exist, more that you were just stating something you saw that was odd and out of the ordinary, which is basically what most of us do on here, or question Eric by death about his predictions, which I am very guilty of myself!

    Eric in this prediction they talk of Mickey Mouse and Disneyland and LA. They do have entertainment/events in the theme parks. Could it be a concert associated or inside the theme park? Also could the old predictions where Spirit mentions “Castle” be related to the theme parks Disney Castle? Do you know how young the children are for this next attack?

    Eric in LA there is the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Initially there was a problem with the way the outside was built and acted as mirrors. This made me think of the older predictions which spoke of mirrors.

    I can’t be the only one who suspects these shooters are allowed to commit mass murder in order to sway the public to the idea of safety through gun control. This last one could have been very easily prevented a long time ago. All we’re allowed to hear on our regularly scheduled propaganda (news) stations, is the opinions of 4 teenagers who are all obviously reading from scripts. Everyone else gets shut down, and called liars or conspiracy theorists, and censored by YouTube, twitter, and Facebook. In the past day or so, YouTube has been shadow banning thousands of users based on their political opinions, and there’s not one second of media coverage about it. I sense a great information awakening coming in the near future, as more and more people get tired of having their voices snuffed out. These social media outlets are in for a massive wave of lawsuits.

      Though I am always open to everyone’s opinion here I would ask that you not attack or slander these children. The idea that anyone would verbally attack children is wrong, but ones in this horrific tragedy is just too much. Take a step back and try and ask how you would feel if your children were attacked twice first by some crazed killer and then again in a wave of social media bias. It’s just wrong, but then again our family has dedicated 24 years of our life watching over foster kids and orphans, our family has witnessed the tragedies these children have gone through,each time I just ask how any person could willing emotionally stain a child, so perhaps in that regard I have my own bias.

        Eric, I couldn’t agree with you more! How can anyone be so heartless to attack these children? I think it may be because they are not being silent and those who are criticizing and attacking are really worried. They will bring them down. They are determined.

          Unfortunately the traction of the movement comes with more shooting sprees, one of which will be the worst one ever. The road is a long one, the real heavy handed change comes when these teenagers are adults, they won’t have the same opinions that we all struggle with now. I am hoping to get some details on exactly what is gained

      Daniel,
      I don’t think anybody wants these shootings to happen; tensions are high between people who want gun bans and people who don’t, but I can’t really see either side letting children die on purpose.

      You do have a point that second-amendment supporters are being demonized lately, and that’s wrong, too. Both sides need to stop name-calling and try to work this out.

      IMHO, I think a good balance would be a ban on automatics for civilians, but also that people have a right to use normal guns for self-defense. There ought to be a national database that is frequently updated about potential threats–abusers, criminals, terrorist sympathizers, and mentally ill/violent people, and prevent them from being able to legally buy guns.
      That way law-abiding gun owners can still have guns for self-defense, and that way automatics don’t get into the hands of people like that shooter.

      It’s not a question of banning all guns or allowing all guns…..there needs to be a responsible medium.

      You mentioned that the kids seemed to be reading from scripts, but there’s a simple answer to that….even if people know what they want to talk about, once they’re up in front of an audience or cameras, they get nervous and forget things. It doesn’t matter how passionate someone is about their topic–if they’re not used to public speaking, they’ll easily blank out and freeze up….so they might need to write down what they want to say ahead of time, just to make sure they can easily refer to it and stay on topic.

      It doesn’t mean the survivors of the shooting are reading things written by someone else…..it means that these teenagers, who aren’t used to TV interviews, are probably nervous as hell and needed to write things down to look at when fear overtakes them.

      It sounds weird, I know, but from personal experience–when someone is put on the spot or terrified of an audience, you’d be amazed how easy it is to forget even simple things you normally remember easily. In high school, I was so terrified of public speaking, I wished I would throw up so I’d have an excuse not to do speak.
      But since I never could throw up on cue, I’d be up in front of the class, frantically trying to remember each detail I’d written, blanking out on what to say–even with sideshow presentations–just because I was terrified.

      I imagine these teenagers, already going through a shooting, have frayed nerves. And even though they’re passionate about gun issues, they’ll more likely than not to be terrified and could easily freeze up on camera. After all, they’re addressing countless thousands, not just a 30-person classroom presentation.

      Sorry for the long post, I just wanted you to know I understand your concerns, and say that it’s unlikely either side is conspiring against the other…..both want kids to be safe, they just disagree on how. We need to find a way to balance gun-safety with gun-rights.

        Very nicely put Sara. I am a firm believer in the second amendment, for that matter the entire constitution. It has prevented some tyrannical dictator from taking ahold of our nation, but it hits a nerve when people attack children let alone these children we should all be supporting in their darkest hour. I just cannot believe that’s where are nation is at, when we start attacking our own children while they struggle through a trauma then it’s time to take a real hard look in the mirror.

      As an Australian, I have no interest either way with your country’s gun debate. It is solely an American problem that has been going on for years that can only be solved by Americans for the American collective, not the American individual. That’s the basis of democracy.
      I am also a psychic medium, and in that capacity, I fear for the US. A number of my medium friends are already ‘seeing’ the early stages of another civil war in the US and I have held back posting my ‘vision’ at my web site in the hope this matter will settle down and common sense will prevail.

        Oh your insight is spot on. I’ll be truthful with you. I doubted what I was getting for years, but then I started getting friends telling me ‘Pete you said that a few years ago’. So yes I seem to get stuff in advance. although this year I’ve got heaps in the first two months.

        Re you and the foster kids, I ran a hostel for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults as a charity….from that, I set up a group home of five. It kept them out of institutions at the time. This is what’s missing in our world today….genuine caring.

        Hello Pete!! Some of my friends who live in smaller counties have mentioned being really worried about a civil war and have talked a lot about it recently, as well as worried that supporters of the administration may become very upset and act out if indictments or other things happen to “the family”.
        We have friends who are on both sides of this equation, the gun lovers, which is my pet name for them, and the ones who want “common sense” gun protections. I have to wonder if what you see is more towards smaller counties throughout America? In talking with my friends on both sides, what we all agree on is that we all want our families to be safe, secure, not have to struggle as much and more importantly, that the government and certainly not any politician will save us. If it comes down to it, we know it is up to us to feed, house, clothe, take care of each other, no matter who has guns and who doesn’t.
        I wonder also, since the anger seems to be directed at politicians if that will play in to your predictions. It seems that a full on civil war would be hard to come about only because many Americans keep to themselves and really don’t even know their neighbors, let alone their stance on guns.
        It’s hard for me to see how it would play out or get momentum enough to create something so large. Maybe I’m thinking about it on too big of a scale?

      Perhaps you have found yourself on the wrong blog here. We are about coming together to change outcomes in order to make the lives better for others. We do not tear people down or pass judgment on them. I will say this, for one moment think about any school shooting that’s happened. Now think of what those children saw. Now imagine your mind replaying that every day, maybe so afraid it will happen again that you no longer feel safe outside of your house. Or maybe you do go out and panic takes over because you don’t feel safe. Imagine thinking could it happen here, everywhere you go. The torment that many of these kids will carry the rest of their lives because of the shooting would be enough to bring a grown man to his knees.
      This isn’t about YouTube or conspiracy theories, this is about children and how they have to live with what they witnessed for the rest of their lives and can we possibly get enough information to alert authorities and save even one person’s life.

    Today’s predictions are encouraging. Eric, I too feel deeply protective towards children and outraged over those who would criticize these courageous teens. You are so kindhearted to take in foster children. Rage is frightening but I’m hoping this generation are the evolved souls who so many mediums have predicted are here to help this planet. It sounds like you’re saying their rage will turn into social activism and they will eventually vote out the scumbags who are enriching themselves rather than working for our country and we the people’s best interests. I understand how discouraging it is when only 60% of eligible voters turn out, but I have renewed hope with the recent blue wave taking away 39 seats formally held by republicans since tRump became POTUS. I believe republicans politicians and the American oligarchs who really run the country Rhonda the scenes will continue to rig elections via voter suppression, gerrymandering etc. We live in a plutocracy now, not a democracy imo. My first thought over Trina’s post regarding the Craigslist ad was that it could be another devious plan or statedgy by a nut job or even gun enthusiast who wants to hire teens as actors to somehow twist the narrative & make the legitimate teens who are fighting for real change look bad. On MSNBC the Rachel Maddow show received phony information in an attempt to make her perceived as giving out “fake news” so perhaps I’ve become overly suspicious at this point. It just feels that DTs supporters such as Devin Nunes and so many others will do anything to save DTs reputation and hold on to power.
    As always, I’m elated over your prediction on Mueller and his advancing case against tRump and surrogates. This injustice in our government feels like a long nightmare that I will relish seeing its end. Love the word and feeling behind ENOUGH!

      It’s actually my mother who has made it her mission in life to take care of foster children and orphans. Her three children assist her in that cause, today I am taking all the kids to school, she has this beautiful philosophy that no matter how dark their lives are, when their with us we will make every effort to bring happiness and security In regards to the movement,. Unfortunately some of that rage might slightly sour their cause, rage and anger has a tendency to do that, one can only hope it stays peaceful.
