Hurricane Sandy: Summary of P 29 & 48

The Facts by several sources, 10/30/12: Hurricane Sandy struck Cuba and several other Islands in the Gulf of Mexico on October 25th. Then it moved north striking several states of the east coast of the U.S. The eye of the storm made landfall in Atlantic City on October 29th. As of October 30th there have been 65 casualties in the Caribbean and 33 known casualties in the United States, 1 in Canada. Today New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie praised President Obama’s work to help states battered by Hurricane Sandy as “outstanding”.

My heart goes out to all those affected by this massive storm. I hope for a speedy recovery. It has been implied that more possible storms will affect Latin America in the coming months.
