The facts by UPI: — Police were searching for a gunman who opened fire Thursday at a community college in Sacramento, killing one person and injuring two others, officials said.
The gunfire erupted at about 4 p.m. local time in a parking lot at Sacramento City College. Police said the four men appeared to have had a dispute in the parking lot, leading to the gunfire.
“It started as a verbal dispute and escalated from there to fists, then to weapons,” a college spokesman told the Los Angeles Times “One young man pulled out a semi-automatic handgun from his pocket and began shooting.”
