Yes it happened yesterday.
In Sydney, a fair amount of damage but no one was hurt thank god. -
The following has been taken from the Oz Cyclone Chasers Facebook page, they are not sure which direction the possible cyclone will be heading in. I am in South East Queensland and experienced the tail end of one last year, so hoping this one is only a tropical low and will bring much needed rain to the state.
“Graphics show a Tropical LOW or cyclone around North or North-West Queensland based on two computer forecast models around Christmas time.”

That might be the prediction. Lots of difficult weather in AU.

There’s a cyclone coming in to the north of Australia at the moment (top-end).

We are just about to experience a severe cyclone in northern Queensland. Expected to make landfall Monday 27 March / Tuesday 28 March (24-36 hours from now). They are predicting it may reach category 5 at landfall.
