The Facts: Darmstadt (Germany) (AFP) – The European probe Philae has made the first-ever landing on a comet, a crowning phase in a quest to explore the origins of the Solar System, the European Space Agency (ESA) said Wednesday.
The robot lab landed on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko around seven hours after separating from its mother ship Rosetta more than 510 million kilometres (320 million miles) from Earth, it said.
“Philae is talking to us,” said Stephan Ulamec, the lander’s manager. “We are on the comet.”

eric, thank GOD, that they are changing the path of a asteroid, that has a path to earth, in the future! this came to me, as I was reading your post, on another note,………… WHEN, will the space brothers reveal themselves to ALL humans? will this be, when the weather conditions, really speed up? can you imagine, all the positive changes, for all humans, and the planet? they have always been here, but, most people, walk among them, and do not even know they do……. maybe this question, shouldn,t be asked, but, I though, this IS a good question, for everyone! thank you for all you do for others!!
