Artic Cold Front

This cold front is starting.

The Spirits are back, we have been discussing plans, for instance they have dire concerns over natural disasters, storms will be devastating, floods run rampant. So in many ways I am expecting them to shift towards Mother Nature. They are already setting up an earthquake and massive storm, both damaging, and both coming very soon.

Prediction: Earthquake in Sri Lanka & India

So many places below zero, in one swipe, at one time the winter will consume so much of the world with freezing temperatures. The first time the human race can no longer deny the problem in front of them.

The facts reported by ABC: The first flakes of the season in parts of the Northeast Tuesday, including Pennsylvania and Hudson Valley.     It was -9.95 celcius in Ottawa (Canada) on Friday, close to -20C at times with the windchill… coldest nov 10th ever. It’s warmed up since. We’ve also had the wettest year on record. The pace of the how much more extreme the weather is getting has noticeably quickened.

      The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre (PTWC) said ‘hazardous tsunami waves’ were possible within 300km of the epicenter.
      The agency later reported that ‘tsunami waves had been observed’ and issued the alert for New Caledonia and Vanuatu.

    Storm..Tornado…Tennessee

    A fast moving storm came through Middle Tennessee Saturday evening, leaving damage behind in several areas. The severe weather tore the roof off a home on Gary Road in Joelton. There were also reports of trees down nearby on Union Hill Road. Residents in Cheatham County also felt the impacts of the storm. Officials asked drivers to avoid Highway 12 North and Old Clarksville Pike due to downed trees. In Rutherford County, emergency crews were called to Couchville Pike in the area of Corinth Road due to storm damage. Some buildings were damaged by fallen trees, and utility crews are working to remove debris on the roads. All of the impacted roads should be cleared by midnight, according to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. There have also been reports of damage in the Gladeville area and other parts of southern Wilson County.

    The biggest snowstorm of the winter put smiles on the faces of thousands of students Friday as classes were canceled in more than 100 school districts and private schools in southern Wisconsin. Roads were hard to traverse throughout southern Wisconsin, especially in rural areas and residential areas in municipalities. A snow emergency will begin Friday night in Madison, according to interim streets superintendent Steve Schultz. A general plowing operation in Madison started at 7 a.m., with about 150 pieces of equipment working the city’s 1,700 miles of lanes. “The main routes and bus routes are passable and in pretty good shape, but the residential streets are a mess,” Schultz said. The Madison School District didn’t really call a snow day for students, since they were already off for an in-service day, but the district did relent on making staff come to work by canceling the in-service. Many events scheduled for Friday night, including basketball in many school districts, already have been called off. A full list of closings and cancellations can be found on the Channel 3000 website. The snow emergency in Madison will be in effect both Friday night and Saturday night, ending at 7 a.m. Sunday. The Streets Division is asking residents to remove vehicles and other equipment from city streets if possible, but if not, follow the alternate side parking rules. Alternate side parking means vehicles should be parked on the even-house-number side of the street Friday night, since it will be an even-numbered day on Saturday (Feb. 10), and the odd-house-number side of the street Saturday night. The rule is enforced from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m., but for all practical purposes, people park on the correct side of the street the night before. Violators of the alternate-side parking rule will get $60 tickets and a chance to have their vehicles towed. The snow emergency zone covering Downtown and the Isthmus is extremely tight on parking, so Schultz said it’s critical for residents to follow the rules in the zone. “We need to get vehicles out of the way in the Isthmus,” he said. “We need to get that snow out of there.” Residents also are reminded that all daytime parking restrictions remain in effect, so if parking is prohibited on selected blocks in the snow emergency zone or on the Near East and Near West Sides, those rules still apply. For those with no place to park in the snow emergency zone, the city-owned ramps makes parking available for free in the cashiered (non-permit) sections from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. If you park before 9 p.m. or after 7 a.m., you will be charged for the time in the ramp. The city also wants nobody to park on the top level of the ramps so they can be plowed. Free parking is also available at the Brittingham Park Shelter lot on West Washington Avenue. The Wisconsin 511 road conditions map shows highways are snow covered and slippery thoughout the southern half of the state, but are in good winter driving condition in the northern half.

    Snow Storm (Blizzard) in USA on February 23 2018 04:05 AM (UTC).

    Heavy bands of snow moved through the Denver metro area Thursday afternoon, causing multiple vehicle crashes and road closures in the foothills. Westbound Interstate 70 closed at Morrison Road due to a multi-vehicle crash, and another crash involving multiple vehicles prompted the closure of both directions of the C-470 ramp from 6th Avenue. Both closures were in Jefferson County, which is under an accident alert. Lakewood Police also reported hazardous conditions on westbound 6th Avenue, tweeting a video showing slow-moving traffic on snow packed roads. Contributing to the traffic mess, the Colorado Department of transportation is reporting extensive delays and slower speeds due to poor visibility in the area. Westbound I-70 at Morrison Road was back open just after 7 p.m. The westbound ramp from C-470 to US 6 remains closed.
