Partisan Inauguration Speech

The Prediction posted 1-8 has unfolded as of 1-22, it reads under 5: Coming Predictions:

The US President comes out swinging adding more friction between parties, he says he will continue to do what he feels is right and what is good for the country. Acting as if he was still on a campaign, taking he words to the masses, his actions are viewed as hubris to some.

The Facts: Republicans piled criticism on Barack Obama on Tuesday for what they described as an ideological inauguration speech, and accused him of failing to offer anything in the way of compromise. Senator John McCain, Obama’s presidential opponent in 2008, rounded on Obama, saying it was the eighth inauguration speech he had heard and the first in which a president had failed to reach out his hand to the opposition party. It would have been nice if they noted this prediction was about Obama’s Inauguration Speech. The president’s speech launched his goals for the next 4 years which lay out a liberal agenda, and very little mention of working across the aisle. Republicans have criticized the speech as divisive, partisan and arrogant.
